Limoges History

Porcelain Process

Claude Monet admired Japanese culture and was one of the largestt collectors of paintings and prints from Japan. The spirit of the French porcelain "Cerisiers de Monet" (cherry blossom) is inspired by one of Monet's numerous prints and was created by Monet for  every day use in his dining room at Giverny.

The Monet "Cerisiers de Monet" dinner service is now one of the most popular designs in the Haviland Parlon portfolio and is exclusive to the company. The picture shows the dinnerware in the dining room at Giverny.
